Basic New York-Style Pizza Dough Recipe

1Combine bread flour , sugar , kosher salt , and instant yeast in food processor .bread flour: 4.5 c, sugar: 1.5 tbsp, kosher salt: 1 tbsp, instant yeast: 2 tsp

2Pulse 3 to 4 times until incorporated.

3Add Extra Virgin olive oil and lukewarm water .Extra Virgin olive oil: 3 tbsp, lukewarm water: 15 oz

4Run food processor until mixture forms ball that rides around the bowl above the blade, about 15 seconds.

5Continue processing 15 seconds longer.

6Transfer dough ball to lightly floured surface.

7Knead once or twice by hand until smooth ball is formed.

8Divide dough into three even parts.

9Place each in a covered quart-sized deli container or in a zipper-lock freezer bag.

10Place in refrigerator and allow to rise at least 1 day, and up to 5.

11Remove from refrigerator.

12Shape into balls.

13Allow to rest at room temperature for at least 2 hours before baking.
